Abu dhabi: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a congratulatory message to President Tharman Shanmugaratnam of the Republic of Singapore on the occasion of his country's National Day. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, sent similar messages to President Shanmugaratnam and to Prime Minister Lawrence Wong on the occasion.
According to Emirates News Agency, the messages were sent as a gesture of goodwill and to reinforce the strong diplomatic relations between the United Arab Emirates and Singapore. The leaders expressed their wishes for continued prosperity and development for Singapore under its current leadership. The exchange of greetings highlights the commitment of both nations to maintain and strengthen their bilateral ties.
