EHC Investment and Supermicro Collaborate to Develop Sovereign AI Modular Data Centres in UAE

Abu dhabi: EHC Investment, a subsidiary of International Holding Company (IHC), has announced a strategic partnership with Supermicro, Inc. to develop and deploy Sovereign AI Modular Data Centres (MDCs) in the UAE. This collaboration aims to utilize Supermicro's Data Centre Building Block Solutions (DCBBS) architecture to enhance the availability of AI-ready digital infrastructure in the region.

According to Emirates News Agency, the partnership between EHC Investment and Supermicro is driven by a mutual commitment to providing high-performance and energy-efficient data centre solutions. By integrating Supermicro's DCBBS framework with EHC Investment's regional expertise and infrastructure capabilities, the collaboration intends to create scalable and high-density MDCs. These centres will support AI and high-performance computing workloads with reduced deployment timelines.

As the global demand for AI infrastructure rises, the need for power-dense and high-performance computing capacity has become increasingly significant. Supermicro's modular data centres, built using their validated DCBBS approach, offer a reliable solution for accelerating deployment while maintaining efficiency and consistency in operations. The DCBBS architecture combines computing, networking, storage, power, cooling, and deployment services into a unified solution, ensuring faster deployment cycles and predictable performance.

EHC Investment brings its strong regional presence and infrastructure development expertise to the partnership, aligning with its strategy to invest in digital infrastructure that fosters economic growth and technological leadership. The collaboration will focus on developing MDC reference architectures, deployment frameworks, and delivery models to expedite the rollout of AI infrastructure across priority sectors in the UAE.

The announcement signifies the start of a strategic relationship between the two companies, with future evaluation of project opportunities and potential expanded collaboration. The partnership aims to support the UAE's digital future through scalable, secure, and high-performance AI infrastructure.
