Dubai:The Emirates Group has successfully concluded the fourth edition of its annual innovation platform, ForsaTEK 2026. The event featured over 90 sessions and experiences, showcasing more than 60 technology projects and solutions focused on artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and human-AI collaboration.
According to Emirates News Agency, the event, held on September 21st and 22nd, brought together leaders and experts from the technology, aviation, and business sectors. It highlighted solutions aimed at improving operational efficiency, enhancing customer experience, and shaping the future of work. H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, emphasized that ForsaTEK has become a platform for testing ambitious ideas and transforming emerging technologies into practical solutions.
Prominent discussions included one with Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, on the importance of anticipating technological shifts to boost the UAE's competitiveness. Other sessions featured Issam Kazim of Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing and Adnan Kazim of Emirates, focusing on Dubai's innovation ecosystem and technology's role in tourism and aviation.
Speakers such as Emmanuel Marill from OpenAI, Rohan Murty from Soroco, and Dan Hagen from Havas discussed AI leadership and the integration of digital twins. The programme also introduced Maryam 3.0, a voice-enabled AI agent, in a live discussion on intelligence and innovation.
During the event, Emirates Group launched the Academic Research Collective (ARC), a platform to connect with research-intensive universities for applied research and innovation. The Group also unveiled its strategic collaboration with OpenAI, providing employees with access to advanced AI models for productivity enhancement.
Technologies highlighted included ARRIVE, a framework by Emirates Group IT for agentic software engineering, and virtual reality training tools by Emirates Service Delivery. Dnata Technical Services introduced its automated Smart Hub for inventory management, while Intelak presented start-ups supporting the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.
The event concluded with workshops and talks by historian Roy Casagranda and Majed Al Mansoori of the Museum of the Future, along with masterclasses on entrepreneurship, AI-driven learning, logistics automation, and quantum computing.
