Abu Dhabi: Eneron, a mobility solutions platform and subsidiary of Kintsugi Holding, has unveiled the Magnus – Police Patrol at Make it in the Emirates (MIITE) 2025, marking a significant step in advancing locally engineered, next-generation patrol vehicles.
According to Emirates News Agency, the Magnus Police Patrol, originally introduced as a concept at GITEX 2024 and IDEX 2025, now enters its Technology Demonstrator (TD) phase. It aims to have the vehicle fully designed, engineered, and assembled in the UAE, marking an important step toward sovereign mobility solutions.
Built for advanced patrol operations, the Magnus TD features hybrid-electric propulsion for reduced emissions and silent watch capability. It includes integrated drone deployment for aerial support, tactical-grade mobility, and a modular, mission-ready interior. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with a GPU-powered AI system enabling facial recognition, licence plate detection, and 360° situational awareness.
‘Magnus represents more than a vehicle, it’s a milestone in national capability,’ said Sean Teo, Managing Director of Kintsugi Holding. ‘Through Eneron, we’re building sovereign mobility platforms tailored for the UAE’s evolving security needs, and MIITE is the perfect platform to showcase that commitment.’
Tareq AlBannay, Vice President of Future Systems, added, ‘This is about redefining what patrol vehicles can do. Magnus is a technology demonstrator that integrates mobility, AI, and operational readiness in one platform-designed with real-world scenarios in mind and developed with engineering expertise based in the UAE.’
Eneron’s showcase at MIITE reflects the UAE’s broader commitment to advancing critical security technologies, reducing reliance on imports, and enabling industrial innovation through local talent and capabilities.
