The Supreme National Authority for the Return Marches and Breaking the Siege decided, this Wednesday morning, to re-equip and rehabilitate the return camps on the eastern border of the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the Authority confirmed that the actual work will start in the return camps on the Gaza border, starting from noon today, Wednesday.
Sources told Ma'an, "The decision to resume the activities of the return marches comes in light of the occupation tightening its siege on the Gaza Strip, and the inability of the mediators to bind it to previous agreements."
The Return Marches began in the Gaza Strip on August 30, 2018, and continued for two years, during which 217 citizens were martyred and hundreds injured, and ended with Israel providing facilities to the residents of Gaza without ending the siege.
