Hamdan bin Mohammed and Kuwait’s Defence Minister Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation

Dubai: H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, met with Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Kuwait's Minister of Defence, as part of the Kuwaiti official's working visit to the UAE. The visit coincides with the 'UAE and Kuwait: Brothers Forever' week, which began today and will unfold across all emirates.

According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Hamdan expressed satisfaction with the strong ties between the UAE and Kuwait, emphasizing the continuous progress in their bilateral relations. This progress is supported by the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Kuwait's Emir, His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

Sheikh Hamdan stated, "The UAE and Kuwait are brothers forever. We look forward with confidence to a future of shared dreams and an unwavering determination to build a better tomorrow. Kuwait and its people are, and will always be, in our hearts: a fountain of nobility and beacon of wisdom." He further highlighted that the celebration of fraternal ties under the directives of President Sheikh Mohamed conveys a message of appreciation and affection from the UAE to Kuwait, reaffirming a historical partnership and shared commitment within the GCC.

The meeting was attended by several high-ranking UAE officials, including Dr. Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Omar Sultan Al Olama, Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Dr. Ahmed Belhoul Al Falasi, and Saeed Al Eter. Discussions focused on expanding cooperation and exploring new opportunities across various fields, aiming to further strengthen the bilateral partnership in line with both nations' development priorities.

Both parties reiterated their leaderships' commitment to enhancing bilateral ties and fostering new collaborations, with the objective of supporting sustainable development and achieving a more prosperous future for their peoples.
