Abu dhabi: The Industrialists Career Exhibition 2026 concluded on Tuesday at the Abu Dhabi Energy Centre, marking a successful two-day event that connected Emirati job seekers with over 70 leading companies from the industrial, advanced technology, and services sectors participating in the UAE's National In-Country Value (ICV) Programme.
According to Emirates News Agency, the exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, in collaboration with its strategic partner ADNOC, and witnessed a strong turnout from thousands of young Emiratis. The event offered more than 1,000 job opportunities and facilitated numerous direct job interviews. This year's edition was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE), the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (ETCC) through the NAFIS programme, the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), and other significant partners.
The exhibition drew over 4,500 job seekers, providing participants with valuable opportunities to engage directly with leading employers across the UAE's strategic industrial sectors. More than 800 candidates successfully advanced to the next stages of recruitment with participating employers. Efforts will continue post-exhibition to monitor interview outcomes and support recruitment processes in alignment with the UAE's Emiratisation goals and broader industrial development agenda.
Hasan Jasim Al Nowais, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, emphasized the exhibition's alignment with the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology and the Make it in the Emirates initiative. He noted the event's significance, coinciding with the UAE's Year of the Family 2026, and its role in empowering Emirati youth through sustainable careers.
Ghannam Butti Al Mazrouei, Secretary-General of the ETCC, highlighted the exhibition's role in building a competitive Emirati workforce by aligning individual aspirations with job market needs. He stressed the importance of integrating training with direct recruitment to establish Emirati talent as a primary choice for employers.
Mohammad Ali Al Kamali, Chief of Trade and Industry at ADIO, discussed the critical role of talent in the UAE's growing industrial economy, noting the sector's significant contribution to the national economy. The collaboration between industry, government, and academia was emphasized as a key factor in creating pathways for Emiratis in future-focused sectors.
Dr. Abdulla Al Shimmari from the DGE underscored the importance of collaboration in empowering Emirati talent for emerging sectors. He highlighted the Mawaheb Centre's commitment to skill development and aligning training outcomes with market needs.
Omar Al Nuaimi of ADNOC reiterated the company's commitment to investing in Emirati talent through the ICV Programme, enhancing skills and creating opportunities for career growth.
