Kuwait: Kuwait's Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah discussed on Monday over the phone latest regional developments and ongoing efforts on the backdrop of the US-Iran ceasefire agreement with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan, KUNA reported. According to Emirates News Agency, the Pakistan-mediated deal mainly calls for "immediately and permanently" ending the conflict, and reopening the Strait of Hormuz. The dialogue between the Kuwaiti and Turkish foreign ministers highlights the significance of regional partnerships in addressing and resolving geopolitical issues. The ceasefire agreement aims to foster stability in the region, with the reopening of the strategic Strait of Hormuz being a key component of the deal.
