Abu dhabi: Sheikha Sheikha bint Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, wife of H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President, and Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees of Make-A-Wish Foundation UAE, participated in a global forum in Utrecht, the Netherlands. The forum brought together Make-A-Wish leaders to discuss strategies for expanding the foundation's reach and enhancing its humanitarian efforts.
According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikha Sheikha emphasized the importance of international collaboration to extend support to more children with critical illnesses. The Make-A-Wish UAE delegation presented their achievements in granting over 8,950 wishes to children both within the UAE and internationally.
The global conference, held on 8th - 9th September, focused on governance, risk management, and the integration of artificial intelligence and data to improve the foundation's humanitarian impact. The discussions aimed to explore innovative solutions to better serve children facing life-threatening health challenges.
