Abu dhabi: The Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research have announced that the approved education system for the upcoming period will be revealed on Sunday evening, May 10, 2026. This announcement will determine whether the education system will proceed with in-person or remote learning, based on a comprehensive assessment of the current situation in collaboration with relevant authorities.
According to Emirates News Agency, the assessment aims to ensure the safety of the educational community while maintaining the continuity of the educational process. The ministries have confirmed that examinations and international assessments will continue to take place in-person, following the established plans. In addition, in-person learning will persist in higher education institutions for academic programs that necessitate practical attendance or clinical training.
The ministries also emphasized that educational institutions are prepared to shift between different learning models as required. Any further updates or developments regarding the learning model will be communicated through official channels.
