Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli reviewed on Thursday 3/8/2023 a report on the efforts exerted by the Cabinet's Supreme Medical Committee, under Hossam el-Masri, in July.
Madbouli praised the efforts made by the committee, its immediate response to citizens in medical distress, and its endeavors to provide the necessary medical care for them in coordination with the ministries and authorities concerned.
For his part, Masri posted the premier on the committee's response to nearly 1,079 emergency cases detected through media and social media pages.
He added said that the responses during July included 223 treatment-at-state-expense decisions made by the premier, and the issuance of 31 decisions to perform haploidentical bone marrow transplants.
He also underlined that the committee's efforts during the past month included performing medical procedures for 105 tumor patients and gamma knife operations, providing medications for 102 cases, and installing prosthetic devices and limbs for 54 persons with special needs.
