RAK Chamber and CISMEF Ink Deal to Enhance Trade and Investment Relations

Ras al khaimah: Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry has entered into a collaboration agreement with the Office of the China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair (CISMEF) in Guangdong, which operates under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China in Guangdong.

According to Emirates News Agency, the agreement was formalized during AIM Talks in Guangzhou, China, a prominent industrial innovation hub. The signing was conducted by Dr. Rashid Khalfan Al Nuaimi, Director-General of RAK Chamber of Commerce, and Jiang Xingjun on behalf of CISMEF. The event was attended by Mohamed Mosbeh Al Nuaimi, Chairman of RAK Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with other officials.

The primary goal of this agreement is to enhance trade, economic, and investment cooperation between businesses in Ras Al Khaimah and China. It encompasses the exchange of information, organization of business delegations for exhibitions and events hosted by both parties, and facilitation of initiatives that align with mutual interests and benefit both sides.

Dr. Al Nuaimi emphasized the chamber's dedication to fostering joint economic cooperation with CISMEF and strengthening trade and investment connections. He noted that the agreement would open up new opportunities for strategic partnerships, allowing the business community to leverage promising prospects in both markets and solidifying Ras Al Khaimah's status as a global business and trade hub.

Moreover, Dr. Al Nuaimi reiterated the chamber's commitment to supporting its member companies in successfully expanding into international markets and promoting the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within the emirate. He also highlighted the chamber's role in advancing the digital economy, safeguarding the interests of the business community, and enhancing Ras Al Khaimah's appeal as an investment destination.
