Abu dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC) will host the second edition of its "Art of Writing and Moderating Discussions" programme from 22nd to 25th June 2026. This initiative is being organized in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Youth Council and the Youth Council at the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi).
According to Emirates News Agency, the programme is designed to enhance the skills of participants in writing for discussions, moderating debates, and managing dialogues effectively. Targeting young individuals between the ages of 18 and 35, the programme aims to provide them with the necessary skills to design and moderate panel discussions that adhere to international standards.
Participants will gain expertise in creating dialogue sessions, formulating questions, delivering key messages, maintaining control over conversations, and engaging with audiences. The programme encompasses daily practical training sessions for 30 participants, who will be divided into working groups. The training will emphasize content development for discussions, session planning, and moderation techniques through workshops, simulations, and various exercises, followed by direct evaluations.
Through this initiative, the ALC seeks to foster national talent in the realms of discussion moderation and dialogue management, preparing participants to lead professional and engaging discussions. Furthermore, the programme aims to elevate the quality of public discourse and promote the effective use of the Arabic language in professional and cultural settings.
