Abu dhabi: Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) has signed two strategic agreements with MAGRABi Retail Group and Mighty Industrial Park during the 5th edition of Make it in the Emirates (MIITE) at the ADNEC Centre, reinforcing the emirate's position as a competitive hub for industrial investment and advanced manufacturing.
According to Emirates News Agency, these agreements demonstrate the growing investor confidence in Ras Al Khaimah's industrial ecosystem, underscoring its capacity to support scalable manufacturing operations. The first agreement with MAGRABi Retail Group, represented by CEO Yasser Taher, involves establishing a Store Manufacturing Centre dedicated to producing furniture, store fit-outs, refurbishments, and pop-up concepts for its retail network. This facility is designed to service up to 140 stores annually across the GCC, creating up to 100 jobs and enhancing the company's regional expansion and operational capabilities.
Taher emphasized MAGRABi Retail's commitment to a customer-first philosophy and its dedication to quality, innovation, and client care by centralizing production in Ras Al Khaimah. This investment signals their long-term commitment to the emirate and aims to elevate the retail experience across their growing network.
The second agreement with Mighty Industrial Park, represented by shareholder Guichun Guo, plans to develop a comprehensive China-UAE industrial park focusing on metal recycling, dismantling, smelting, precious metal refining, and advanced manufacturing. This initiative aims to create a fully-integrated ecosystem supporting sustainable industrial development and advancing circular economy practices in Ras Al Khaimah.
Guo highlighted Ras Al Khaimah's favorable conditions for resource-circulation industrial projects, including industrial land, utility access, and logistics connectivity. With support from relevant authorities, Mighty Industrial Park envisions building a circular-economy value chain in Ras Al Khaimah, attracting partners and contributing to the UAE's green manufacturing and industrial diversification goals.
RAKEZ Group CEO Ramy Jallad noted that these agreements reflect RAKEZ's commitment to strengthening Ras Al Khaimah's position as a hub for advanced manufacturing and industrial investment. The partnerships with MAGRABi Retail and Mighty Industrial Park aim to develop an integrated industrial ecosystem that supports innovation and adapts to global shifts in value chains and sustainable manufacturing.
Jallad also participated in a high-level panel discussion highlighting the UAE's industrial resilience and the support provided to businesses by federal entities and economic zones. He emphasized the importance of flexibility, client engagement, and an integrated ecosystem in maintaining continuity and building long-term investor confidence on stability and scalability.
