Sharjah: Sheikha Jawaher bint Abdullah Al Qasimi, Director-General of the Rubu' Qarn for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, attended the graduation ceremony of the second cohort of the Rubu' Qarn Theatre and Performing Arts' 'Majal' program at the Sharjah Children's Centre in Al Qarayen. The program ran from March 30 to July 1 and saw 12 participants successfully complete their training.
According to Emirates News Agency, the graduation ceremony featured a documentary film that chronicled the journey of the "Majal" program. Participants presented three major projects focusing on strategy, communication, and programming, which highlighted the program's outcomes. The participants also performed several skits inspired by one of the projects, demonstrating their ability to apply the skills and tools acquired during the program to effectively communicate ideas.
The ceremony concluded with the awarding of program certificates to the participants. Each graduate received three distinct certificates: a training certificate from the University of Granada, a certificate of participation from the Rubu Qarn Theatre and Performing Arts, and an expert diploma in effective leadership from the University of Salamanca.
Professor Sundus Al Amoudi, Director of the Rubu' Qarn Theatre and Performing Arts, stated that 'Majal' exemplifies the centre's approach of utilizing theatre as a means for human development. This experience, which integrates performing arts with professional development, aims to enhance communication, leadership, and teamwork skills among participants.
