Saif Bin Zayed Meets with Pakistani Interior Minister to Enhance Bilateral Cooperation

Abu dhabi: H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, met with Mohsin Naqvi, Minister of Interior and Counter-Narcotics of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The meeting focused on strengthening the historical relations between the two nations and emphasized the commitment of both leaderships to enhance bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors. According to Emirates News Agency, the discussions covered a range of regional and international issues of mutual interest, including enhancing security coordination and exchanging expertise, particularly in combatting drugs and transnational organized crime. The importance of using advanced technologies supported by artificial intelligence to address security challenges was also highlighted during the meeting, aiming to consolidate security and stability at both national and regional levels. The meeting was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Major General Salem Ali Al Shamsi, Assistant Under-Secretary for Resources and Support Services at the Ministry of Interior; Major General Sheikh Mohammed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Director-General of Abu Dhabi Police; Brigadier Engineer Hussein Ahmed Al Harithi, Director-General of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Security; Brigadier Saeed Abdullah Al Suwaidi, Director-General of the Federal Anti-Narcotics Department at the Ministry of Interior; and a number of officers, alongside the Pakistani Interior Minister's entourage. During the visit to the Ministry of Interior, the Pakistani delegation, led by Mohsin Naqvi, was briefed on the Ministry's customer visit monitoring operations room. They were introduced to the systems in place for monitoring and evaluating police services, which are aimed at improving employee performance and providing leading police services.
