New York: Scottie Scheffler won his third Major Championship at the 2025 US PGA Championship after holding off a strong challenge from Jon Rahm.
According to Emirates News Agency, the World Number One began the day with a three-shot lead over playing partner and nearest challenger Alex Noren and extended his advantage to five early on Sunday before the fightback came.
Rahm briefly drew level at nine under par, but Scheffler found his form on the back nine to again pull clear, eventually winning by five shots on 11 under par.
The US PGA Championship is a key fixture on the DP World Tour calendar and part of the season-long "Race to Dubai" under the Official World Golf Ranking.
