UAE and Jordan Lead Humanitarian Airdrop in Gaza with European Support


Abu dhabi: UAE and Jordan have spearheaded a significant airdrop operation to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza, working in collaboration with France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a phone conversation with Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan, to discuss the ongoing humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and explore enhanced coordination in relief efforts.

According to Emirates News Agency, the conversation included praise for Jordan’s ongoing humanitarian efforts in Gaza and highlighted the strong bilateral cooperation between the UAE and Jordan. H.H. Sheikh Abdullah affirmed that under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, the UAE is leading global initiatives to provide urgent humanitarian support through comprehensive efforts by land, air, and sea to assist the Palestinian people in Gaza, who are facing ch
allenging humanitarian conditions.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah emphasized that the 59th airdrop operation was carried out today, led by the UAE and Jordan, with the participation of seven aircraft from France, Germany, Italy, and Spain. This operation is a part of ‘Operation Chivalrous Knight 3’, which focuses on delivering food and relief supplies to the hardest-hit areas in the Strip.

The operation represents an effective model for international cooperation in humanitarian response, reinforcing the commitment to solidarity with affected nations. H.H. Sheikh Abdullah reiterated that the UAE is a leading supporter of the Palestinian people, offering relief efforts and engaging in continuous political and diplomatic actions.

Furthermore, the UAE’s commitment to supporting civilians in Gaza and alleviating their suffering is evident through its collaboration with regional and international partners. These efforts align with the UAE’s principles of providing humanitarian support and urgent relief during crises, part
