Abu dhabi: Sultan bin Abdullah Al Anqari, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the UAE, emphasized the robust and enduring fraternal ties between the UAE and Saudi Arabia, which are founded on shared religion, language, and traditions. These ties are further strengthened by a shared purpose and destiny.
According to Emirates News Agency, Al Anqari highlighted the fruitful strategic partnership between Saudi Arabia and the UAE, which is focused on building a prosperous future for their citizens and the broader region. He noted that the policies of both nations are closely aligned on political and economic matters of common interest.
The Ambassador pointed out the significant economic growth in recent years, with non-oil trade between Saudi Arabia and the UAE reaching US$25 billion in the first half of 2025, marking a 21.3 percent increase compared to the same period in 2024. He also mentioned that UAE direct investments in Saudi Arabia now surpass SAR111 billion, and the Kingdom is the UAE's third-largest global trading partner and top Arab partner.
Al Anqari expressed his gratitude to the UAE leadership and citizens, stating, "The noble sentiments we experienced from our brothers in the UAE during the celebrations of the 95th National Day of the Kingdom are a source of pride for us. The UAE holds a special and cherished place in our hearts."
