Abu dhabi: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a phone call from His Excellency Aleksandar Vucic, President of the Republic of Serbia, to discuss opportunities to strengthen cooperation between the two nations in various sectors, including the economy, development, and renewable energy.
According to Emirates News Agency, the leaders reaffirmed their commitment to advancing UAE-Serbia ties, focusing on fostering long-term economic partnerships under the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. This agreement aims to support shared growth and prosperity, reflecting both countries' dedication to enhancing bilateral relations.
Additionally, Sheikh Mohamed and President Vucic exchanged views on several regional and international issues of mutual interest. They particularly focused on developments in the Middle East and their potential implications for regional security and stability.
