UAE President Awards First Class Order of Independence to UK Ambassador

Abu dhabi: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has awarded the First Class Order of Independence to Edward Andrew Beauchamp Hobart, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the UAE. This honor recognizes the ambassador's efforts in strengthening strategic relations between the two countries during his tenure.

According to Emirates News Agency, the medal was presented by H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, during a meeting in Abu Dhabi. The UAE diplomat extended his wishes for the ambassador's success in future assignments and acknowledged his role in enhancing friendship and strategic cooperation in various sectors.

Ambassador Edward Hobart expressed gratitude to President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the gesture, lauding the president's leadership on regional and international levels. He emphasized the strong ties of friendship between the UAE and the UK and thanked UAE government entities for their cooperation, which contributed to the success of his mission.
