Doha: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, has sent a formal written message to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of Qatar. The message includes an invitation for the Amir to attend the 2026 United Nations Water Conference, which is set to be held in Abu Dhabi in collaboration with the Republic of Senegal from December 8 to 10, 2026.
According to Emirates News Agency, the letter was delivered to His Excellency Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, Qatar's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, by His Excellency Saeed Abdullah Al Qemzi, the UAE Ambassador to Qatar. The delivery took place during a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters in Doha.
