Worker Rescued After Two Weeks Trapped in Mexico Mine

Sinaloa: Rescue teams saved a worker who had been trapped for two weeks following a mine collapse in northwestern Mexico that left four people trapped, according to Mexican authorities.

According to Emirates News Agency, the incident occurred at a gold and silver mine in Sinaloa State on 25th March. The collapse resulted in the deaths of two workers, while one worker was rescued on 30th March. A diver managed to locate the final survivor, leading to a successful rescue operation.

Hundreds of rescuers participated in the operations that continued day and night for two weeks. They employed specialized equipment to pump out water from the mine, which was a crucial step in reaching the trapped workers and ensuring their rescue.
