Abu dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Exports Office (ADEX) has conducted a series of site visits to prominent UAE-based manufacturers, including MEDECO, Star Paper Mill, and Dana Steel, as part of its strategic AED1 billion partnership with Emirates Development Bank. These visits are aimed at bolstering the growth and global competitiveness of national industries by providing integrated financing solutions to manufacturers and exporters in key sectors such as advanced manufacturing and renewable energy.
According to Emirates News Agency, the initiative is part of a larger effort to support UAE manufacturers by understanding their operational capabilities, expansion plans, and export ambitions. ADEX representatives engaged deeply with company leadership during the visits, gaining insights into the challenges and opportunities faced by the industrial sector. Ahmed Mohamed Al Naqbi, CEO of Emirates Development Bank, emphasized that the AED1 billion financing partnership with ADEX is designed to go beyond mere capital provision.
