Abu dhabi: The Ministry of Culture has announced the commencement of registration for the 20th edition of the 'Al Burda Award,' a prestigious event that celebrates the richness and expressions of Islamic culture. This award honors creativity in both traditional and contemporary Islamic art forms and emphasizes the beauty and significance of the Arabic language.
According to Emirates News Agency, this year's edition is themed 'Family: Tranquillity and Mercy,' reflecting the UAE's 'Year of the Family' initiative. The award aims to highlight the enduring legacy and exemplary character of the Prophet by positioning Islamic arts as a medium for cross-cultural dialogue and a shared expression of human heritage.
