Sharjah Ruler Inaugurates AED700 Million Khorfakkan Resort

Sharjah: His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, inaugurated the Khorfakkan Resort. The ceremony was attended by H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.

According to Emirates News Agency, the resort was developed by Asas Real Estate, the property arm of Sharjah Islamic Bank, at a total cost of AED700 million. It is set to enhance tourism and investment in the city of Khorfakkan. Upon arrival, His Highness unveiled the commemorative plaque of the resort, marking the official inauguration before touring the various facilities. The resort spans a land area of approximately 330,000 square feet, with a built-up area of 1.4 million square feet.

His Highness was briefed on the resort's layout, which includes a ground floor, two parking levels, and nine residential floors. The development comprises 573 residential units ranging from one-bedroom apartments to four-bedroom apartments with a living room. Additionally, the resort features 16 retail outlets, combining residential living with essential services.

Located strategically on Khorfakkan beach, the resort is in proximity to the Khorfakkan Amphitheatre and Waterfall. It boasts four panoramic views, showcasing the sea, beach, city, and mountains, providing a unique experience for residents and visitors that merges natural beauty with modern amenities.

The resort's facilities include a gymnasium, elevated green spaces covering 100,000 square feet, outdoor swimming pools, a children's recreational sports area, a private beach, and comprehensive hotel services. These offerings cater to both residents and visitors, ensuring a blend of luxury and convenience.

The project features freehold ownership for all nationalities, increasing its appeal to investors and supporting Sharjah's goal of attracting investments in the real estate and tourism sectors. Khorfakkan Resort is poised to boost tourism and economic activity in the city by providing a destination that combines luxury accommodation with recreational services, aligning with Sharjah's sustainable development plans.
