According to Emirates News Agency, the launch of the Agthia Academy aligns with Agthia's involvement in the "Make it in the Emirates 2026" initiative, which adopts an industry-led approach to skills development. This endeavor is set to bolster competencies across the food value chain, elevate operational standards, and contribute to sustainable growth in the sector. Salmeen Alameri, Managing Director and CEO of Agthia Group, highlighted the Academy's role in empowering Emirati talent to access and apply global best practices, thereby improving consistency, productivity, and operational excellence.

Heiko Feuring, President at Bhler for Middle East, Africa, and India, emphasized the importance of equipping talent with both global knowledge and hands-on experience.
