Saeed Al Hajeri and Serbian Minister Discuss Economic Partnership in Abu Dhabi

Abu dhabi: Saeed Al Hajeri, Minister of State, met with Jagoda Lazarevic, Minister of Domestic and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Serbia, during her participation in the 'Make it in the Emirates' exhibition in Abu Dhabi.

According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting focused on enhancing economic relations between the UAE and Serbia through the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. The discussions aimed at supporting trade exchange across key sectors such as food security, energy, and digital transformation, reflecting a shared commitment to mutual interests.

Al Hajeri highlighted the robust ties between the two nations and emphasized ongoing cooperation to advance bilateral relations. He noted the importance of collaborative efforts to support sustainable development in both countries.

During the meeting, Lazarevic also condemned Iranian attacks on civilians and infrastructure in the UAE, calling them violations of sovereignty and international law. She stressed that such actions threaten regional security and stability.

Al Hajeri thanked Serbia for its supportive stance against Iran's attacks, acknowledging the solidarity shown by Serbia in condemning these acts of aggression that target the UAE and other countries in the region.
