Mohammed Bin Rashid Chairs Second Meeting of Rashid Villages Supervisory Committee

Dubai: H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of Rashid Villages, led the committee's second meeting to evaluate project progress and track the implementation of approved plans and initiatives across various phases.

According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Mohammed emphasized the importance of adhering to the project schedule, ensuring alignment with approved timelines to fulfill the objectives of the Rashid Villages project. The aim is to transform its humanitarian and development vision into a tangible reality that positively affects beneficiary families. He also highlighted the necessity of aligning efforts across partner entities and institutions for efficient and effective delivery.

Sheikh Mohammed noted that the Rashid Villages project is a sustainable investment in people, families, and society, with success measured by its ability to provide an integrated environment supporting social stability. This enables families to build a safer and more prosperous future, in line with best practices in humanitarian work and community development.

The committee reviewed the progress of the Rashid Villages project, including master plans, construction updates, and associated initiatives and services for beneficiary families. The goal is to deliver an integrated and sustainable environment for eligible families. The meeting also covered the work of task forces and partner entities, along with monitoring and performance mechanisms, to ensure efficient delivery, strong governance, and timely progress on upcoming phases in line with approved timelines.

Attendees of the meeting included Omar Sultan Al Olama, Hessa Bint Essa Buhumaid, Saeed Al Eter, Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Dr. Raja Easa Al Gurg, and Hasher bin Dalmook, reflecting a collaborative effort across various sectors. The 'Rashid Villages' initiative, launched in 2025 by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, aims to honor the humanitarian values of the late Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum by establishing model villages that offer housing, education, healthcare, and social services to underprivileged families, ensuring a dignified life.
